My sister and I were mowing the lawn, and I was trying to take her picture. Backing up, I fell into a pothole, and instantly I left my body because I didn't want to feel the pain I would have experienced if I had stayed in my body.

The strange thing is that I could hear and see, with my physical senses, my sister and two other ladies coming toward me and talking to me. But at the same time, I could see myself above me looking down at my body.

With my floating out-of-body self I could also see and hear my physical body on the ground moaning in pain. Both bodies were looking at and listening to two different aspects of the same thing at the same time. My spiritual body was curious about the reaction of the physical body to the pain.

I wonder if this has happened to others, a kind of multi-dimensional experience, different from the "normal "OBE."
