Journey
of Loss…Discovery of Hope
A California
filmmaker friend of mine, David C. Bojorquez, along with his
business partner Keith Myers, has just produced what I consider
a remarkable film. First in a series called Journeys Project
for Grief, the film is entitled Journey of Loss
Discovery
of Hope. The subtitle of the film is "The phenomenon
of grief
The path to healing." It has earned the
24th annual National Silver Telly Award for outstanding production.
The DVD version which is interactive and contains an additional
8 video modules, has also received the 25th annual National
Gold Telly awarded to the best media created over the past
25 years.
Dealing
with all aspects of the grief process, this film is especially
useful for those who have lost loved ones, but is equally
valuable for use in study groups. It deals with such topics
as the loss of a child, spouse, parent, sibling or friend,
and explores the grief experience, hope and healing, suicide
and afterlife perspectives. What is particularly relevent
for visitors to this site is the section on "sensing your
loved one's presence," dealing with After-Death Communication.
Anyone
who has suffered the loss of a loved one, or those interested
in hearing evidence of After-Death Communication, can benefit
from watching this film. It is available in both VHS and DVD
format, and is part of a larger series which, I feel, is going
to be a major addition to our understanding of the connection
between the physical and spiritual dimensions of our lives.
