The
second of my four daughters was born on April 4, Easter
Sunday, 1999 and we named her Patricia Frances. The
"Patricia" was after her maternal grandmother.
Our last name is Boucher. She was born at Credit Valley
Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario, very close to the
403 HWY.
I
learned several months after Patricia was born that
a 20-year-old exchange student from France, going to
the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario,
by the name of Patricia Boucher was killed in a head-on
collision on the 403 HWY in Mississauga, Ontario, on
the December 26 prior to our Patricia's birthday.
An
article about it was published in the Western U paper,
The Gazette, Vol. 93, Issue X, Mar. 18. So my wife was
pregnant with our Patricia Frances Boucher when Patricia
Boucher from France was killed near where ours was born.
Christmas/Easter.
This
may be explained as just chance: weird, yes, but nothing
more than chance. However, I have experienced so many
suchlike personal and improbable coincidences that I
have persuaded myself that it is not chance; the only
other alternative is design; i.e., God.
