During
a difficult time in my life last year, I hadn't paid the road
tax on my car, and I was planning a trip up country in a few
days' time. So I decided to take the train.
I live
in quite a small village. As I was coming over the town bridge,
I received a picture of a police road block on the bridge
next to our local garage. I said to myself, "Not possible.
In fifteen years living here there has never been a check
point there. It makes no sense, and its location is dangerous
because of oncoming traffic."
The following
day again, driving over the hill, I was given the same image.
I had a conversation with spirit, asking how that could be
possible, yet at the same time asking for help in not being
pulled in for not paying my road tax with a heavy fine which
I could not afford.
Saturday
morning came along and it was time to catch the train. The
walk time from my home to the station is forty minutes or
five in the car. I was in a dilemma - do I take the chance,
drive to the station and ignore the advice? But out of respect
to spirit, I walked, took the train and returned back Sunday
evening.
Coming
over the hill, there was the police check point just as I
had seen it, with a policeman standing in the exact position
as in my vision. Boy, did I offer a prayer of thanks.
