I am on
my second journal of dreams, some validated, some not. A very
quick validated one would be this:
In the
fall of 2006 I had a dream that somebody was banging on my
back door. When I answered it, a man asked me in a very angry,
loud tone, "Where's Lisa Brown?" I told him I didn't
know who he was talking about, but he pushed his way into
the house, insisting she was there.
I kept
telling him that I didn't know who she was, but he kept repeating
her name as though I had to remember it - loud and clear,
it was "Lisa Brown." I finally got him to leave
and at that time I awoke. That was it.
In December,
2006 I ran across hypnosis courses that were to begin in January
of 2007. I signed up, took the first required course and opened
my practice in March, 2007. The very first email I received
was from "LISA BROWN," emailing me on behalf of
her mother. She asked me to help her with her mobility.
During
her first visit, she spoke mostly of the death of her husband
and how difficult it was to deal with her loss. He passed
away in the fall of 2006, when I had my dream.
Nothing
else came of it. I didn't have the nerve to mention my experience
to her so I could find out more information. It was just left
at that simple validation as if to tell me that I did make
the right decision about going into the controversial practice
of hypnosis.
