When I was a child, I remember being completely aware that I had been "big" before. I thought everyone had, and that it was normal to know that I hadn't always been little. I would tell my father, "I did that when I was big."

I have two children. They have both said the same thing to me without my ever saying anything about my knowledge as a child. My daughter, who is fifteen, remembers feeling the same thing as a child that I did, that she was once big, and it was just something she didn't question.

Just last week, my seven-year-old son made the statement again for at least the third time, "When I was big." I have never questioned reincarnation. I have been totally aware of it for as long as I can remember.
